Why Laser Hair Removal?

When most women think of laser hair removal, they imagine the painful past of electrolysis and other treatments.

The times of painful hair removal are over. Now, using laser to remove hairs, unbearable pain is a thing of the past.

The advantage of our technology is that it converts the non-effective wavelength of light energy into effective wavelengths of light energy.

This then enables our therapists to use half of the regular dosage to do the job.

The laser instrument we use also has a large treatment head, which enables our doctors to cover a wider area faster, reducing treatment times using Cynosure machine.

What can I expect?

Laser body hair removal is usually a more involved procedure than laser facial hair removal due to the larger surface area.

It may take several laser treatments for effective body hair removal.

Not all hairs grow at the same rate; some hairs are in a resting cycle while others are growing.

It normally makes sense to have more than one treatment-spaced approximately a month apart-is needed to ensure that the laser treats all body hair in its growth cycle.

Time varies for many of our customers on an individual basis ad laser treatments van fluctuate. Generally, the larger the body surface area, the more time the laser hair removal treatment will take.

Laser hair removal is a gentle and effective way to permanently reduce unwanted hair from virtually any area of the body.

What causes skin damage?

The main cause of dark spots in light-skinned individuals is sun damage.

Years of sun exposure can result in spotted hyper-pigmentation, a condition marked by increased pigment production that results in patchy skin color or a blotchy complexion.

The extent of sun damage depends most on a person’s skin color and his or her history of long-term or frequent/intense sun exposure.

Why Skin Rejuvenation therapy?

Skin rejuvenation is a modern and reliable technique that combines bi-polar radio frequency waves with effective light energy to penetrate the dermis and treat underlying skin conditions.

This improves skin texture, eradicates spider veins, gets rid of the redness from rosacea, and will safely remove pigmented lesions, freckles, sun spots, and age spots.

What are Thread Veins?

Spider veins and thread veins are terms used by the public for small, unsightly, superficial veins usually found in clusters on the legs.

Most people are concerned with the cosmetic appearance of their thread veins but they are frequently associated with symptoms of aching, burning, itching, throbbing and cramps.

This experience is often worse at certain times of the menstrual cycle. In addition, the presence of thread veins may indicate an abnormality of the venous system which may require further investigation.

What are the signs of varicose veins?

Varicose veins can are often seen on the skin. Some popular symptoms may include:

  •     Aching pain that may get worse
  •    Throbbing or cramping
  •     Heaviness
  •     Swelling
  •     Rash that’s itchy or irritated
  •     Darkening of the skin (in severe cases)
  •     Restless legs

Laser treatments

Laser treatment is effectively used to treat spider veins and smaller varicose veins. This method sends very strong bursts of light through the skin onto the vein. By doing so can slowly fade and make the vein disappear. Not all skin types and colors can be safely treated with lasers.

The best thing about this treatment is No needles or incisions are used, but the heat from the laser can be quite painful. Cooling helps reduce the pain. Laser treatments last for 15 to 20 minutes. Generally, 2 to 5 treatments are needed to remove spider veins in the legs. Laser therapy usually isn’t effective for varicose veins larger than 3 mm (about a tenth of an inch). You can return to normal activity right after treatment.

Possible side effects of lasers include:

  • Redness or swelling of the skin right after the treatment that disappears within a few days
  •  Discolored skin that will disappear within 1 to 2 months
  •  Burns and scars from poorly performed laser surgery, though this is rare

What is Semi-Permanent make up?

Micropigmentation as its professionally known is a revolutionary method of inserting small amounts of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin in order to enhance a woman's features.

This state-of-the art procedure has been used by models, actors, and entertainers as a means of enhancing their appearance. Madonna, Cher, Elizabeth Taylor, Angelina Jolie ,Gwen Stefani ,Shirley Bassey and even Prince are just a few of the celebrities that have chosen to have permanent cosmetics. Beyond the mere aesthetic value, with the savings in time, money, and daily frustration, it is easy to see why semi-permanent cosmetics have been called the "make up of the future."

Semi-Permanent makeup typically consists of application of eyeliner, eyebrow simulation, and lip color. Additionally, there are semi permanent cosmetic makeup procedures for beauty marks, scar camouflage and areola reconstruction.
